RidgeLine is an AI-powered scheduling and dispatch assistant for solo tradespeople such as plumbers, electricians, and HVAC techs. It runs the booking conversation over SMS so the tradesperson does not have to, auto-confirming bookings, parsing natural-language reschedule replies, and turning missed calls into booked jobs. The frontend branding is RidgeLine, while the repository and API lineage is tradescheduler.
The system uses an SMS-first pipeline: customers text in, Twilio webhooks feed a queue drained by a worker, intents are classified, and bookings are created. Natural-language rescheduling parses replies such as "can we move it to Thursday?" into structured reschedule requests that are never auto-confirmed without an explicit customer reply. Missed-call recovery uses outreach intents to turn missed calls or texts into bookable conversations, and Google Calendar sync provides OAuth-linked calendar integration for booked appointments.
A solo-trade dashboard provides schedule view, jobs, customers, AI inbox for approve/reply, analytics, and settings under a custom RidgeLine design system. Consent-first SMS requires every outbound message to have a logged consent record, and nothing is sent without it. The provider-agnostic AI layer supports OpenAI, Ollama, and Census providers behind one interface, with an AI usage cost ledger.
