Overview
NeuroFairy is described as an ADHD aware executive functioning agent. It is a local AI assistant that floats on the desktop and also lives in a fairy cottage web app, helping users organize and simplify tasks, focus time, calendar, and notes. The project is inspired by researched executive functioning techniques such as body doubling, pomodoro timers, and brain dumping. The current status is Stage 1 — in progress. The tech stack includes Python 3, SQLite, CSS for the frontend, Ollama (Qwen2.5:3), Langchain, and FastMCP. The runtime architecture involves a browser interface with index.html and app.js, a Python application with FastAPI, and a local AI component using LangChain ChatOllama and a local Ollama service running the qwen2.5:3b model. The project is MIT licensed.
