Overview
FreeCADTool is a pure C# / .NET agent plugin that enables an AI agent to create and edit parametric 3D CAD models inside FreeCAD. It supports primitives, PartDesign bodies with sketches, various features like pad, pocket, revolve, groove, hole, loft, sweep, patterns, fillet, chamfer, boolean operations, and import/export of standard CAD formats. The plugin drives a running FreeCAD instance over a local RPC bridge, sending Python snippets per operation and receiving structured results. It is designed to be used with an AIOrchestrator host such as AgentBridge or AIOffice, and it automatically sets up necessary components like the bridge, FCGear add-on, and a chat panel inside FreeCAD.
