dsh-ENHANCED

dsh-enhanced is a plugin for DeepSeek Harness (DSH) that bundles everyday upgrades the harness lacks out of the box. It provides free multi-engine web search with automatic fallbacks, persistent skill and MCP management, guarded session cleanup, and themes, all wired into a single Settings tab and one model tool. The repository ships prebuilt, so no build step is needed.

The search subsystem is a vendored multi-engine provider covering DuckDuckGo, Bing, AnySearch, SearXNG and SearXNG-compatible gateways, plus keyed engines such as Exa, Tavily, Keenable, Perplexity and DeepSeek in the fallback chain when a free engine rate-limits. A preferred engine is chosen in the Provider dropdown; on failure or empty results the chain walks on. Results are cached per query, and failure cooldowns persist to disk. A companion web_fetch action retrieves any HTTP(S) URL and returns the content as markdown.

Management features include a skills manager that installs, edits and removes agent SKILL.md skills persistently, an MCP server manager for @deepseek-ai/dsh-mcp-client rows across profiles, and a plugin manager that enables or disables mounted plugins per profile. Session housekeeping moves whole session directories into the operating system's own trash. Themes include an original ENHANCED theme and a Cyberpunk 2077 port.

Configuration is stored as marker-delimited managed blocks in the profile's cordis.patch.yml. API keys are written owner-only and never echoed back, and action errors pass secret redaction.
