Overview
jules-orchestrator-kit is a tool for task dispatch and local verification for coding agents. It requires Node.js 20+ and Git, and uses no third-party runtime dependencies. Users can describe a scoped coding task, send it to Google Jules or an installed Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI, and verify the resulting changes. Local checks can also be run without connecting an agent provider. Dispatch, verification and repair are explicit: dispatch sends the task; gate runs configured checks without mutating the working tree; agentctl repair is used explicitly for repair workflows. Provider output and passing checks still need review before merging. The current release is v0.75.0, a pre-1.0 release, with a long-term stability policy as a v1.0 goal. The kit provides CLI commands such as init, providers, task create, queue --dry-run, dispatch, gate, repair, doctor, and help. It also exposes an ESM SDK and a stdio MCP server alongside the CLI. Verification profiles include minimal, standard, and max, with stages depending on detected stack and configuration. Local checks do not require a provider API key, though configured commands may need dependencies, services, or network access. Automated repairs require a provider.
