Email QA Framework is an open, configurable reference framework for pre-send marketing email quality assurance. It combines deterministic checks, optional AI-assisted review, and human approval checkpoints in one portable workflow. The framework is intentionally independent of any particular company, email service provider, collaboration tool, or model vendor. It is a working reference implementation built with synthetic campaign data, demonstrating product architecture and report experience rather than a production sending system.

The framework uses a canonical campaign format to separate QA logic from ESP APIs. Source adapters handle ESP-specific systems, while downstream components receive the same canonical campaign object. Rule packs can be layered for standard, platform, and company-specific policies. It includes deterministic checks that work without an LLM and a consistent finding model of pass, fail, warning, or human review.

Reports are self-contained HTML suitable for Slack, Teams, or a review portal. The framework maintains explicit human approval boundaries: automation informs launch decisions but does not send email. Included checks cover subject length, preheader presence, unsubscribe marker, placeholder copy, required tracking parameters, insecure HTTP links, image alt text, and a final content review human checkpoint. Design principles include deterministic first, AI where judgment helps, human accountable, configuration over forks, adapters at the edges, and evidence with every finding.
