Overview
Brand Fidelity Rules is a rule set for anyone shipping brand work through AI pipelines. It consists of sixty-two rules that stop a generative step from quietly replacing a client's identity with something plausible and wrong. The repository documents three failure modes: substitution, drift, and vouching, each with associated rules. The rules are organized into 11 chapters covering identity assets, source pixels, generative fidelity, corrections, inspection, claims, type and layout, provenance, the gate, release and recovery, and facts and numbers. Each rule is stated, justified, and dated to a specific incident from real client work between May and September 2026. The rules are written by Anisha Dogra, co-founder of RAAY Creative, and are based on roughly a year of shipping generated packaging and identity work for consumer brands. The repository includes a RELEASE-GATE.md file that describes a six-step gate every deliverable passes before release, and templates for provenance records and accepted anomaly registers. The rules are intended to be pasted into an agent's project instructions and are written to be copied verbatim. The gate has no edit capability and only two blocking states: FAIL and HOLD. The rules are biased towards FMCG and physical-product work with photographed packaging, and are not a linter; nine are mechanically checkable, the rest are procedure.
