常见问题
Does the agent apply to jobs without my approval?
CareerBoom applies based on your preferences and target roles, but you can review applications, pause the agent at any time, and adjust what kinds of jobs it targets.
Is each auto application tailored, or is it the same resume everywhere?
Each application is tailored. CareerBoom matches your profile to the role and adjusts your resume and answers to fit the position, rather than sending the same generic resume to everyone.
Which jobs and job sites does the agent apply to?
The agent focuses on roles that match your skills, experience, and preferences. It searches across job sources and prioritizes the best matches within your monthly auto apply quota instead of mass-applying.
What is Auto Apply Agent?
Auto Apply Agent includes everything in Manual Kit, plus AI-powered auto applications. CareerBoom can discover suitable jobs, prepare applications using your profile, and apply on your behalf based on your plan's auto apply quota.
What happens if I run out of auto applies before the month ends?
Once you reach your monthly auto apply quota, the agent pauses new auto applications until your plan renews. You can still use the manual tools in your plan, and you can upgrade to a higher Auto Apply Agent tier if you need more volume.
How does Auto Discover work?
Auto Discover uses your skills, experience, and preferences to find relevant job opportunities. It helps keep your pipeline fresh so Auto Apply Agent can focus on roles that better match your profile.
What is the dedicated job mailbox for?
The dedicated job mailbox keeps AI applications and recruiter replies organized in one place. It separates your job search activity from your personal inbox and makes follow-ups easier to manage.
Will recruiters know my application was sent with AI?
No. Your applications are submitted as your own, using your profile, resume, and details. Recruiters receive a polished application from you.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, you can change or cancel your plan from your account. Paid features remain available until the end of the current billing period, then access updates based on the plan you choose.
Is my data secure and under my control?
Yes. CareerBoom is GDPR compliant, and your profile, resume, and job-search data are stored securely and used to power your CareerBoom experience. You can update your information or cancel your plan at any time.
