It tracks scheduled dose routines, as-needed medication timers with safe spacing, body temperatures, and health readings such as blood pressure, blood glucose, SpO₂, INR, and weight, organized per family member. It works on iPhone, Android, and the web and does not replace medical advice.
Does Medication Timer work on iPhone, Android, and the web?
Yes. It is available on iPhone and Android, and the full web app can also be used. On mobile, users get push reminders, widgets, and other glanceable tools. On desktop Chrome, an optional extension can show live dose countdowns while browsing.
What’s the difference between a medication timer and a scheduled dose routine?
A scheduled dose routine follows clock or calendar times, such as daily, weekly, or hourly-style patterns. A medication timer is for as-needed medicines and counts down from when a dose was actually given so users know when it is safe to give the next one. Timers can also be staggered or linked when two medicines need spacing from each other.
Can I track fever, temperatures, and sick-day meds in one place?
Yes. Users can log temperatures and symptoms, and use Care sessions when someone is unwell so as-needed timers and temperature context stay together. This makes checking whether the next dose can be given a glance instead of mental math.
Can two parents or caregivers share the same child’s medications and readings?
Yes, with Family Care. Each caregiver signs in with their own account and works from the same shared family data when invited. This keeps schedules, logs, and alerts visible for co-parents and household caregivers without sharing one login.
Is Medication Timer free? What’s limited without Family Care?
There is a free tier with unlimited family members and medications, as-needed timers, temperatures, Care, and a unified Today view with recent history. Family Care adds shared caregiver coordination, full calendar history, trends and family reports, growth charts, and other household tools.
How many dose routines and health readings can I use for free?
On the free plan, each family member can have up to three combined scheduled dose routines and enabled health reading types, with a household maximum of twelve. Family Care removes those practical caps.
Is my family’s health and medication data private?
The site says family medication and health data lives in the user's account and is meant for people they authorize. Sharing and invites are for trusted caregivers only. The Privacy Policy describes how data is handled.
