Overview
Yandex Wiki Search MCP is an unofficial MCP server that connects MCP clients such as Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf to Yandex Wiki. It provides full-text search, page management, comments, attachments, and dynamic tables (grids) through 33 tools with typed schemas. The project is not affiliated with or endorsed by Yandex.
The server offers full-text search across the entire wiki using the same backend as the Wiki web search bar, returning up to 50 results per query. It supports the full page lifecycle including create, update, append, clone, delete with a recovery token, comments, and file uploads. It also provides 11 write tools for dynamic tables (grids) covering rows, columns, cells, copy, and sort.
It can run via stdio for desktop clients or streamable-http with Docker for teams, with optional multi-user OAuth. A server-side read-only mode (WIKI_READ_ONLY=true) prevents write tools from being registered, so agents cannot bypass it. Every tool includes input and output JSON schemas plus safety annotations.
