Overview
PLUTUS is a self-hosted live shopping platform that generates video segments from product URLs. A viewer submits a product URL, an AI host scripts it, keyframes are generated and interpolated into motion with ffmpeg, and the segment airs on the channel. It operates without external video APIs, vendor lock-in, or cloud accounts.
The platform is designed to be channel-first and fallback-safe, ensuring every submission has a path to air even without an AI provider connected. It includes a fallback studio that uses procedural keyframes to keep the channel airing. The broadcast player features event-driven clip switching, subtitles, standby screen, live ticker, and chat. Real-time schedule synchronization is handled via Convex subscriptions.
The stack is runnable via Docker Compose, including a self-hosted Convex backend, a Node action runtime with ffmpeg, and T2I keyframes via the shared OmniRoute gateway. It supports sign-in through Cerulean Authentik. The project is open source under AGPL-3.0-or-later and is part of the Innotel Platform Stack.
