Overview
Pack Planner is a smart family organizer and planner available on iOS and Android. It centers on a shared family calendar that can update itself: users can snap a photo of a school letter, and Pack Planner adds the event automatically. The calendar is private and works offline, and the company states it is 100% GDPR-compliant and secure.
Beyond the calendar, Pack Planner includes shared and private calendars, an integrated weather widget, hybrid AI (local and cloud), recipes and a meal planner, shopping lists and to-dos, and a digital bulletin board called the Corkboard. Setup is designed to be quick: families create a Pack, invite a partner, kids, or anyone who needs to stay in the loop, and can add events, shopping items, notes, or photos. AI extracts dates, deadlines, and to-dos and adds them to the shared calendar, and changes appear for the whole family instantly, online or off.
Pack Planner offers a free version with core features for a single user, including calendar, shopping list, to-dos, meal planner, pinboard, and a document safe with up to 3 files. Basic (€1.19/month) lets users invite a partner and as many family members as they like. Pro (€4.99/month) additionally unlocks Google & Outlook calendar sync, unlimited document safe, and cloud AI models for scanning school letters. Both plans are also available as cheaper annual subscriptions.
