NextChat

NextChat is a light and fast AI chat assistant that supports Claude, DeepSeek, GPT4, and Gemini Pro. It is described as a zero-config AI chat assistant that requires no API key; users can sign up and instantly chat with GPT-5, Claude 4, Gemini 2.5, DeepSeek, and 100+ top models. It is available on Web, iOS, macOS, Android, Linux, and Windows, and uses a pay-as-you-go model.

The project can be deployed for free with one-click on Vercel in under 1 minute, and it offers a compact client of about 5MB on Linux, Windows, and macOS. It is fully compatible with self-deployed LLMs, with recommendations for RWKV-Runner or LocalAI. Privacy is prioritized because all data is stored locally in the browser. It supports Markdown features such as LaTeX, mermaid, and code highlighting, along with responsive design, dark mode, and PWA.
