langgraph-objectstorage-checkpoint

langgraph-checkpoint-objectstorage is a LangGraph BaseCheckpointSaver that persists checkpoints to local filesystem, Google Cloud Storage, or AWS S3. It uses a single class, ObjectStorageSaver, and the backend is selected by the connection string, requiring no additional service beyond a bucket or directory. The package supports full sync and async operations for all BaseCheckpointSaver methods, including get_tuple/aget_tuple, put/aput, list/alist, put_writes/aput_writes, and delete_thread/adelete_thread. It is tested against the official contract with langgraph-checkpoint-conformance on all three backends. Runtime type checking is performed on the public API via typeguard, and the package ships py.typed for static type coverage. Optional features include checkpoint TTL, compression, encryption, and observability. The saver is best for applications already using S3, GCS, or local disk that do not want a database for checkpointing, but it is not for workloads needing transactional guarantees or heavy concurrent writes to the same thread.
