YACareerOps is a local, privacy-first career automation platform implemented as a Python system. It combines live multi-board scraping from BuiltIn, LinkedIn, and Indeed, ATS API ingestion from Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Workday, Gmail alert digest parsing, universal guardrail filtering, a local background web dashboard, and one-click tailored ATS resume and cover letter generation.

The system ingests roles through multiple discovery paths and applies a universal ingestion guard. The guard enforces target titles, leadership seniority levels, geographic guardrails, and compensation floors loaded from config.json. It also connects to Gmail via secure IMAP to extract and validate job listings delivered by LinkedIn and Indeed email alerts. A local Flask dashboard runs on http://localhost:5000 for reviewing vetted roles, dismissing irrelevant postings, and tracking active applications.

When a user clicks "⚡ Apply & Build Package" in the dashboard, the system builds tailored single-column ATS PDF/DOCX resume and hybrid cover letter locally. It does not automatically submit forms on external job sites; the user reviews the package and submits directly to the employer's portal. The document engine generates clean, single-column ATS Word and PDF application packages with strict zero em-dash enforcement. All candidate state data and generated application packages remain stored locally on the filesystem.
