Overview
Guided Review is a tool that turns GitHub pull requests and local git changes into an ordered walkthrough of review units, allowing developers to read changes with intent rather than reconstructing them from an alphabetical file list. It is available as a Chrome extension for GitHub PRs and as a local CLI for reviewing local git changes. The tool uses AI to cluster related hunks and add short commentary, but the code always comes from the real diff, and the user still reads and decides. It is free, open source, and requires users to bring their own LLM key. There is no product backend; the extension and CLI communicate directly with the user's AI provider, and the extension communicates with GitHub for PRs.
