Overview
ChatGPT x Antigravity Bridge is a local control plane that connects ChatGPT to Google Antigravity. It allows ChatGPT to act as a system architect and planner while Antigravity performs code modifications, terminal commands, and session persistence in the local workspace. The bridge is intended to remove manual copy-pasting between architectural planning in ChatGPT and local coding agents.
The Bridge Gateway runs locally on FastAPI. It validates requests, manages a priority queue, enforces workspace filesystem boundaries, and stores audit logs in SQLite. Google Antigravity receives dispatched tasks through its local AgentAPI / Language Server, modifies the target repository, and reports progress through real-time WebSockets and SSE.
The system exposes dual control interfaces: an OpenAPI 3.1 schema for ChatGPT Custom Actions and a native MCP server at /mcp/sse. It supports multi-workspace authorization, dynamic filesystem tools, session continuity, auto workspace discovery, smart workspace resolution, a permission policy engine, auto verification and self-healing, a priority task queue, a filesystem boundary guard, pure headless operation, zero port forwarding, and security features such as SHA-256 hashed API keys, Fernet AES credential encryption, RBAC scopes, and token-bucket rate limiting.

Use Cases
- Teams use the bridge to let ChatGPT plan code changes while Antigravity applies edits and runs commands in the local workspace.
- Developers use it to dispatch tasks from ChatGPT to Antigravity through a local FastAPI gateway.
- Teams use it to continue iterative refactoring in the same Antigravity session without resending the whole codebase.
- Developers use it to run automated verification and self-healing after code changes.
- Teams use it to manage multiple authorized project directories and switch workspaces at runtime.
- Developers use it to expose filesystem tools bounded to authorized roots.
- Teams use it to establish an encrypted tunnel without port forwarding.
- Developers use it to prioritize tasks via a background asynchronous scheduler.
